A master executive coach for physicians, Dr. Francine Gaillour founded the Physician Coaching Institute in 2005.

Dr. Francine Gaillour has been on the leading edge of physician coaching for over twenty years.  The author of the “Physician, Reinvent Thyself:  A Self-Coaching Guide for Physicians,” Dr. Gaillour’s coaching process guides physicians to discover personal values, celebrate their unique strengths, and tap into their potential to become a force in their lives, their organization, and their community.

Observing that physicians present a unique dynamic when it comes to professional development and personal growth, Dr. Gaillour created a proprietary coaching process, the Physician Success Inquiry Method.™  Honed over more than twenty five years of supporting over 500 physicians in multiple forums, Dr. Gaillour’s approach has propelled many a “Daring Doctor” from unsure…. to unstoppable.

Dr. Gaillour’s medical training was at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Washington and earned an MBA from the University of Tennessee Physician Executive MBA (PEMBA) program.  Her coach training was through the Academy for Coach Training and the Graduate School of Corporate Coaching. Dr. Gaillour has earned the Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coaching Federation.

Well versed in medical management issues, Dr. Gaillour is a Fellow and former Board Member of the American Association of Physician Leaders.  She earned the  AAPL’s Certified Physician Executive (CPE) credential as well as the Certificate in Healthcare Information Technology.

Dr. Gaillour’s insights on coaching, physician leadership, and cultural transformation have appeared in numerous national publications.
