Ed Millermaier MD, MBA, FACP, ACC

Ed is an Associate Certified Coach with the ICF, certified as a Team Coach at the practitioner level with the Global Team Coaching Institute and a Master Certified Physician Development Coach. He has an independent coaching business, Pivot Partnerships, LLC. He coaches individuals, groups and teams. His coaching philosophy is to partner with clients as they move to a personal and professional life of flow and presence.

Prior to coaching, Ed has been an entrepreneurial, creative, relational executive with sixteen years of leadership and governance experience in health care and  more than thirty-three years of clinical experience as a primary care internal medicine physician.

Ed has been in multiple roles in an executive capacity including Chief Medical Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Department Chair, and Medical Director for Quality. He has been on Boards of Directors for community-based health centers, health systems, arts organizations, and the insurance industry. The knowledge, wisdom, and experience of his past contribute to his coaching.

Ed is an amateur musician engaged in community orchestras and ensembles throughout his adult life. He and his physician spouse of 40+ years have three adult children and 5 grandchildren. They enjoy all four seasons Michigan offers, multiple outdoor activities, music, reading, and time with family and close friends.
