Expert Overview

Overview: I utilize my curiosity and compassion to partner with physicians yearning for more fulfillment, ease, and joy in their personal and professional lives.

Client and Coaching Focus

I specialize in working with physicians who feel stuck, exhausted, or just wishing for more out of their career. Together, we will work to identify the authentic and amazing parts of you that have been diminished during medical training and practice, identify the conditionings of the medical culture that may be limiting you, and emerge with greater connection to your authentic self. From this space of being seen and heard, your growth and transformation will unfold so that you can experience the successes you’ve envisioned for yourself and serve in the ways most meaningful to you.

While I welcome all physicians, I also specialize in working with women physicians navigating perfectionism, limiting beliefs, and conflict between personal and professional desires and obligations. I work with women physicians through both one on one and group coaching  models.

Background and Experience

Early in my career, the combination of perfectionism, a worship of productivity, and my high-achieving nature, layered on with the stresses of doctoring and parenting, I found myself in a significant experience of burnout. Since then, I have been on a personal and professional journey to understand and improve my well-being and the well-being of other physicians. Through my work as a well-being leader, I have often met with physicians who are struggling. In these moments, I recognized that while I work to make systemic changes, I also want tools to help physicians waiting for these changes. Through my own journey, I experienced coaching and mindfulness as powerful tools to help me navigate my healthcare career and personal life in a way that feels authentic, meaningful, and manageable. My ambition to become a physician coach grew from these experiences. As a coach, I wish to partner with physicians who are on their own journey of struggle, exhaustion, or burnout, and be part of the process in emerging with more ease, joy and fulfillment.
