Expert Overview

I am a Physician Executive Coach, who helps physicians and physician organizations develop professional staff development, working relationships and healthy work environments.

Client and Business Focus:

My ideal clients are physicians who are interested in transforming their interactions with patients and medical staff. Personally, my clients are up to improving their communication skills to forward conversations that enhances their ability to express their passion for patient care. They would like to articulate their role in healthcare decision-making and engage in healthy discussions in the current healthcare reform initiatives currently taking place in organizations.

They are choosing to participate; learning to engage others dynamically to enhance practice efficiencies. These are skills which weren’t taught or come naturally to the physician but are sought after as leaders in their work environment. These skills will enhance the physician role in organizational team environments.

With coaching, physicians will gain knowledge and skills in communication which will propel them forward in personal and family relationships as well; enhancing life satisfaction.

Background and Experience:

I am an experienced physician clinician with extensive senior leadership skills building teams with environments that seek open communication and transparency. I have formal training in healthcare management from Harvard University; specifically gaining knowledge in healthcare reform initiatives including quality improvement, electronic record implementation and organizational culture. I have coached and counseled physicians to improve communication skills; empowering them to express their needs and valuable experience in a respectful manner. I have engaged physicians to look at their practice styles and co-lead their practice with hospital and practice management teams that deliver best medical care for their patients.

As an International Coaching Federation certified Physician Coach, I bring a unique skill set in coaching that empowers physicians and medical staff to work together.
