I serve physicians across the career span—from residency through retirement—who have disabilities and/or chronic health conditions.

Background and Experience

Prior to launching my coaching practice, I spent nearly two decades working with physicians from various disciplines, both collegially (as an interdisciplinary team member) and clinically (as a psychologist). Over the years, I’ve come to know them as caring, compassionate healers who often lose sight of their own needs and wants in the midst of meeting the needs and wants of others. It was this experience, coupled with my resolve to have a greater impact on the healthcare community and society at large, that compelled me to become a physician development coach.

Education and Credentials

While it was an innate fascination with human behavior that led me to a bachelor’s degree in psychology, it was a congenital optic nerve atrophy that led me to a master’s degree in rehabilitation teaching. Although I had aspirations of becoming a clinical psychologist, nearly 15 years passed before I mustered up the courage to follow that dream.

While pursuing my doctoral degree, I was fortunate to serve on interdisciplinary teams, a role that I continued to play in my clinical career.

After a decade of clinical practice, I needed a change of pace, and pivoted from counseling to coaching. While remaining in my clinical role for several more years, I founded my coaching and consulting practice during this time, and eventually left my clinical practice to pursue coaching and consulting on a full-time basis.
