John Boisvert’s hands-on business experience and knowledge, combined with his extensive executive coaching experience, provides his clients with a valuable balance of insight and understanding to go along with practical, direct applications to their issues and opportunities.

Client and Business Focus:

As a coach, John works with corporate executives, physician leaders, technical leaders, and law and professional service firm partners on a wide range of issues critical to professional effectiveness. These range from improving their executive presence, to increasing their ability to influence effectively, to expanding their capacity for thinking and planning strategically, to maximizing their personal and organizational performance and contributions. He then works with his clients to apply these skills to significantly improve their ability to: increase their team’s effectiveness, build better organizational alignment and productivity, handle corporate politics in positive and constructive ways, and demonstrate their capacity for bigger challenges and opportunities.

Background and Experience:

Prior to focusing on coaching and leadership development, John gained 20 years of national and international work experience being an executive leader in management, sales and marketing, and information technology. Specific roles included leading U.S. and Australasian sales and client services for Elcom International. And while at Mellon Trust, he lead the custody management, treasury, and global cash processing systems team, with staff dispersed between the U.S. and Europe. A broad base of experience with clients including ADP, AMD-Advanced Micro Devices, Boston Medical Center, Bristol Myers Squibb, DuPont, Fidelity Investments, Massachusetts General Hospital, McDonalds, and MetLife.

Education and Credentials:

For over 10 years John has been a leader in the field of executive coaching. He served as Chairman for the International Executive Coaching Summit, the premier annual conference of top international coaches; and he chaired the Corporate Coaching Committee of the International Coaching Federation of New England. John holds degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Boston College. He is certified through the Physician Coaching Institute as well as the Executive Coaching Institute and mentors executive coaching students through this program. In addition, John serves on public and private sector Boards. He is a long time mentor and practitioner of public speaking and martial arts. He works to support adults and children in the prevention of child abuse. Finally, he is committed to the health and well-being of himself, his family, and his clients.
