Overview
I am currently an internal physician coach for HonorHealth in Scottsdale Arizona. I partner with physician colleagues to develop and transform both their personal and professional lives as they become balanced and centered leaders in our organization.

Physician Coaching Philosophy and Programs

My coaching programs are guided and influenced by the competencies and ethical framework of the International Coaching Federation and tools and training from the Physician Coaching Institute in Seattle, WA. Mindfulness training is an option in all my coaching programs.

I have developed a signature program for emerging leaders that are new to leadership or ready to take their leadership to the next level. The program foundation is the four practices of the emerging leader model which addresses centering to self-care, establishing boundaries, finding joy and flow in work, and outlining a leadership journey to develop a balanced and centered emerging leader.

I offer shorter coaching programs that focus on improving work-life balance and resilience, improving communication and collegiality, and introductory coaching for emerging leaders. Finally, I offer individual or group coaching for residents and primary care leaders and to promote diverse leaders within my organization.

About Your Coach

I am currently the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for the HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Medical Center (AZ) and pediatric service line director for the hospital system. I have been in practice for 28 yrs. including private practice, as a hospitalist, and most recently in a federally qualified health center.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Carnegie-Mellon and a Medical Doctorate from Dartmouth Medical School. I completed a pediatric internship and residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and received a Master’s in Public Health (Health Administration and Policy) from the University of Arizona. I am certified to teach HeartMath and have completed the Intermountain Healthcare certification in health care delivery improvement. In March 2021, I became a master certified physician coach through the Physician Coaching Institute in Seattle, WA.

Outside of work I enjoy outdoor activities (hiking, biking) with my husband Greg, reading, cooking, and spending time with my family.
