Cheri Shumate, ACC, PDC, has been coaching since 2012 and became an ICF credentialed coach in 2015.  She coaches physicians who are experiencing stress, burnout and job dissatisfaction and want to find balance for their lives, rediscover their core values and enjoyment in their work.

Her ideal clients embrace the pursuit of self-awareness, personal and professional growth.  Cheri enjoys journeying with clients who want to develop themselves not just for themselves, but also for the positive impact it will have on others around them.  Her niche is helping clients develop ways of communicating that are professional, warm and respectful.

Background and Experience

Cheri started coaching physicians while employed at Ob Hospitalist Group.  While there she created a Learning & Development department and became a leadership and Physician Development Coach as the company grew exponentially across the US.

Currently she is a Core Team Member for Impact Business Coaches.  In this role she coaches physicians and leaders, facilitates coach training, develops and delivers curriculum around coaching and building resilience.
