With more than 25 years of hospital and related healthcare business experience, I am now a certified coach focused on working with physicians who choose to reconnect with their sense of professional purpose. Whether that entails finding new meaning in an existing practice or exploring career alternatives, the process is similar. I use the proprietary iPEC Coaching Energy Leadership Development System™, coupled with one to one executive coaching, to guide physicians and other healthcare leaders through a transformative process that leads to high levels of positive energy, unleashes the leader within and results in a greater sense of freedom and/or fulfillment both personally and professionally.

Background and Experience:

Throughout my diversified healthcare career spanning more than 25 years, one compelling message has played softly in my head… "healthcare professionals are among the most compassionate, caring and purposeful people on the planet and it is exhausting them both physically and emotionally". My path has led me to the field of professional coaching, where I contribute to a different kind of healthcare reform; to a quiet revolution in the way healthcare professionals lead their lives both professionally and personally. My coaching experience has been results-driven; the goals are established by each client. Typical focuses include better work-life balance, leadership development, career transition, and self-care. Prior professional experiences from which I draw on as a healthcare leadership and physician development coach include: directing member services for an entrepreneurial healthcare buying group, business development, planning, marketing, and grant management for a hospital system, directing the operations of a medical record abstracting service and a laboratory productivity monitoring service for a for-profit hospital association subsidiary, and hospital laboratory supervision and technical responsibility for an acute care hospital.

MBA, Certified Empowerment Coach (CEC) through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), Certified Physician Development Coach, Certified iPEC Energy Leadership Index™ Master Practitioner, credentialed member of the International Coach Federation. BS in Medical Technology, Past President of the Association of Healthcare Executives of New Jersey and current member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
