Kathryn (Katie) Schneider, MD is a board-certified family medicine physician, certified physician development coach, and nationally recognized leader in physician and APP wellbeing. She brings a combination of front-line clinical experience, systems-level leadership, and evidence-based coaching to her work transforming healthcare culture.

Dr. Schneider serves as the System Medical Director for Physician and APP Wellbeing at St. Luke's Health System in Idaho, where she provides strategic oversight for the wellbeing of more than 2,000 physicians and advanced practice providers.

A graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine, Dr. Schneider completed her family medicine residency at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho. She is the founder of The Whole Clinician, a coaching practice dedicated to supporting physician wellness and professional development, and serves as a peer-to-peer support liaison and CISM-trained facilitator. She previously served on the board of The Advocates, a nonprofit supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

She lives in Ketchum, Idaho, where she practices as a hospitalist and remains deeply connected to the Wood River Valley. When she's not at the hospital, you'll likely find her enjoying everything the mountains have to offer with her husband, young daughter, and friends and family.
