Sherrie String currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Human Resource for an integrated healthcare system with 1.8 billion in revenue, over 12,000 employees and 2300 employed and/or affiliated physicians. Sherrie is accountable for the strategic, operational and deployment of human capital solutions to include; Talent Selection/Development, Compensation, Benefits, Workforce Planning, Cultural Design and Transformation, Rewards, Recognition and Engagement. Sherrie is accountable to drive results through change management actions that align people, processes and systems while executing solutions to complex business issues. Under her leadership and that of her colleagues and team members, Meridian Health has been named for the sixth year in a row to the Fortune 100 list of Best Companies to Work For in America and Number One on this list in 2015 For Best Companies for Women to Work.

In addition, Sherrie serves the Executive Director for the Meridian Leadership Institute. The Meridian Leadership Institute provides dynamic, experiential training and coaching programs as well as consulting solutions to Develop Leaders, Engage Teams, Create Great Workplaces, Enhance the Guest/Customer experience and assist organizations to achieve Performance Excellence in their journey to go from Good to Great.

Sherrie has held numerous positions as a human resource executive over the past 32 years for several large multi-industry organizations in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Sherrie earned both a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master of business administration degree from Rutgers University.
