Shelley Smith is a leadership and organization development director with a proven ability to help others see future possibilities from what may seem like a complex current state.

Currently serving as the Senior Director, Leadership Development at Aurora Health Care, a nationally known integrated health care system, Shelley leads the team responsible for leadership development including coaching and mentoring, high potential development, and physician and advanced practice provider leadership development. While with Aurora, Shelley has been involved with work in the build out and startup of a new regional medical center campus, the restructuring of a department involving the transition of individuals into newly defined roles, and working with executive teams on strategic business issues and ongoing leadership development initiatives.

Previously, Shelley spent 16 years with a major financial services company in various leadership and consulting positions. Her key accomplishments include the financial and regulatory turnaround of a branch office, the development and implementation of a key associate development program, and the oversight of the employee and organizational development department.

Shelley holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and is nearing completion of her MBA from Concordia University Wisconsin. She also holds executive coaching certifications from the Institute of Organization Development and the Coach Academy International, as well as is a practitioner of the MBTI, Clifton StrengthsFinder, Korn Ferry Voices 360, Lominger Leadership Architect, and Situational Leadership.
