Peter Adebi is a seasoned Human Resources, Individual and Organization Development practitioner. In the past twelve years, Adebi has served on the human resource leadership team at Nemours, a leading pediatric health system. In this capacity, he provides guidance in the recruitment, development and retention of associates. Nemours employs more than six thousand associates, including six hundred physicians. In 2003, Adebi received the Ed Ball Award from the Alfred. I. duPont Hospital for Children, one of two awards reserved for distinguished physician and administrative leaders, for his leadership role in achieving desired culture change. Published by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Adebi’s white paper, Pruning Thorns from Roses: HR’s Role in Managing Disruptive Key Employees (2008), advanced national discourse on the effectiveness of coaching. HR Executive Magazine, American Society for Training and Development,, Conduit, are among media that publish his business articles. In 2012, Nemours Human Resources Department was honored as the HR Department of the Year, a competitive regional award. Adebi holds a master’s degree in Human Resources and is certified by SHRM as Senior Professional in Human Resources.
