Mr. Olson is an executive coach with over 17 years experience helping executives and their teams attain their true potential as managers and leaders. Neil’s focus is on creating a sustainable atmosphere of commitment and accountability aligned with organization’s goals and the development of each individual team member to become the best possible version of himself or herself as a manager, leader, and effective, successful contributor to high-performance results.

Neil’s background includes 15 years as a transactional business and litigation attorney specializing in Maritime Law. After working for years as a partner, Neil founded his own law firm in 1998 and his own Executive Coaching business in 2001. In 2006, Neil co-founded Ecstasis Consulting LLC, a Leadership Development and Executive Coaching consultancy. Buying out his partner, Neil is currently the Sole Equity Owner and Managing Principal of Ecstasis. Neil is also a past National President and Officer of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association.

As an Executive Coach, Neil loves working with high performance executives and their teams across diverse industries, and organizational models, and countries. Neil holds a B.A. from the University of North Dakota in Journalism, Psychology and Economics. He also holds a J.D from the University of San Francisco. He is certified as an executive coach by the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is certified in CTI’s Advanced Leadership Development Program. He is a Graduate of the Conscience Living Center in Oakland, California, a 3-year program grounded in The Enneagram and Eastern Philosophy; an alumni of “Giving Spirit Form,” a 7-year personal growth program grounded in Native American Traditions, The Enneagram, and Personal Integrity and Commitment in Grayton, California; and a Graduate of the Self Mastery Workshop, led by author, coach, and consultant Martha Borst of Avista Consulting Inc. Neil has been trained and given permission by David Isaacs and Juanita Brown to use their social dialogue tool “The World Café” in corporate environments. Neil is well versed in organizational development and systems thinking and often utilizes the works of Otto Scharmer of MIT, Author of “Theory U” and other organizational development and systems thinking tools.
