Dr. Lanteri is founder of Lanteri Coaching and Communication, a firm that provides coaching for physicians and health care executives who want to expanding their leadership role, as well as for physicians who are disheartened by today’s medicine environment and seek renewed optimism and fulfillment.

Dr. Lanteri is a Certified Physician Development Coach who also trained with the Coaches Training Institute. She is a founding member of the Institute of Coaching Professional Association at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School affiliate. She has over 20 years experience in healthcare, helping physicians and health care leaders reach their potential as physicians, administrators, and educators.

Dr. Lanteri trained in psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital where she served as chief resident before becoming an attending with administrative and educational responsibilities at the Brigham and Women’s hospital. She held a teaching appointment at Harvard Medical School, where she taught medical students and residents, and lectured for their Department of Continuing Education.

“Working with many physicians over the years as a psychiatrist, I saw a growing need for a personal and professional development approach that was very different from mental health treatment. Physicians were seeking change not because of mental illness but because they wanted growth and fulfillment in life.”

Becoming a coach allowed Dr. Lanteri to pair her extensive expertise in human development and motivation, communication, and conflict resolution with the coaching philosophy of tapping into a person’s energy and purpose to maximize their professional and personal growth.

“As a coach and practicing physician, who has worked in patient care, administration, and academic medicine, I understand the many demands and dimensions of your life and work. I wholeheartedly believe coaching can help you achieve new levels of fulfillment and optimism. I look forward to the opportunity to learn more about you, share my philosophy and approach, and collaborate together on ways in which coaching could be a catalyzing process for your future.”
